Join us for a night of comedy under the stars for the first of our CAMP SOAK series with Hannah Jones and Georgia Comstock on June 23rd. Attendees will soak under the stars or lounge poolside for an evening of laughter and relaxation. Summer camp attire encouraged. The evening is complete with a “spike your lemonade stand” (no glass) and a Roaming Victorian Cubscout snapping Polaroids to capture your special moments. Soaking begins at 7pm; show at 8pm.
Hannah is a stand up comedian, writer, and improvisor based in Denver, Colorado. After being homeschooled in a conservative, religious co-op, her irreverent takes on sex, dating, and gender politics are as original as they are deeply uncomfortable for her mother to hear. She was the creator of the retired satire publication Westish, which has been written about in Denverite and Westword, and covered on Channel 7 News. She has opened for Josh Gondelman, Atsuko Okatsuka, and Todd Barry and has been invited to the Beast Village, Altercation, and High Plains comedy festivals. She performs at DIY shows all over town and is a regular at Denver Comedy Works. Above all of that, she holds the career defining title of the 2007 Fayetteville Christian Homeschool Chess Club “Most Improved” and has been improving ever since.
Georgia is a stand up based in Denver, CO. She is a regular at Comedy Works and travels all over the country to perform. She has opened for Beth Stelling, Maria Bamford, Dan Soder, Duncan Trussell, Dusty Slay, and many more. You can find her on instagram @georgiaswild.
