The Desert Reef Hot Spring is a private relaxation-oriented facility providing recreational opportunities to its members and visitors. Our facility is clothing optional in specific areas and on specific days of the week so please check the website for more info. The following policies and regulations are intended solely to ensure the safety and security of all patrons. Our goal is to provide a tranquil, quiet environment that is safe and comfortable for our members.

Pool Policies.

INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. NO ONE WILL BE ALLOWED TO ENGAGE IN ANY LEWD, LOUD, OFFENSIVE OR RUDE ACTIONS, ACTIVITIES OR BEHAVIORS WHICH INTERFERES WITH THE PRIVACY, SAFETY OR ENJOYMENT OF ANY OTHER PATRON. Guests who do not comply with our policies will be asked to leave along with their entire group and will not be allowed reentry to our facility again. PLEASE READ OUR FAQ PRIOR TO MAKING A RESERVATION.

Members and visitors are encouraged to report to the staff any problems of which they are aware so they may be immediately corrected. Desert Reef Hot Spring reserves the right to warn, temporarily suspend access, permanently suspend or cancel membership of anyone not complying with the rules of the hot spring, without refund. Desert Reef also reserves the right to refuse service to any guest for any reason.

Visitors of Desert Reef release the Organization and its trustees, directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, successors, and assigns from any and all liability for, and waive any and all claims for, injury, loss, or damage in anyway connected with my participation in the Program, including injury, loss, or damage caused in whole or in part by the negligence or other misconduct of the Organization or any of the above-listed organizations or individuals.

This is a shallow pool -- no lifeguard is on duty! There is no diving at any time from any location.

  • No glass of any type is allowed in the pool area. Desert Reef Hot Spring reserves the right to inspect all bags.

  • We ask guests to shower before entering pools.

  • Persons Having Any Considerable Area Of Exposed Wounds Or Contagious Diseases Are Not Permitted To Use The Pool.

  • Animals Are Not Permitted In The Pool Or Pool Area, Except for Documented Service Animals.

  • Keep your voice low.

  • Nobody wants to see you make out, please refrain from any intimate touch in the pools.

  • Don’t be a creep.

  • Anyone refusing to obey these rules is subject to removal from the premises.

  • Power down and be the best version of yourself.

GENERAL Policies.

During standard hours Desert Reef is for guests 18 and over.

  • Bathing suits or cover ups are required in all indicated areas on the property.

  • Single males (or groups of males) must be accompanied by their partner or a female.

  • Alcohol may be brought into the facility, but must be consumed in moderation (no more than 2 drinks per person). Desert Reef Hot Spring reserves the absolute right to limit alcohol consumption by any patron.

  • No visibly intoxicated person will be admitted to the facility.

  • Soaking refunds: In the event that you receive a refund of payment, funds can take up to 10 business days after our processing to become available, depending on your bank institution. Debit cards typically require the most time. Refunds will be processed on the original card used to purchase and will not be processed for amounts larger than the original purchase amount.

  • Members and guests are responsible for the conduct of their guests at all times.

  • Visitors are responsible for the conduct of their guests at all times.

  • Pets: We absolutely adore dogs (and other pets) which is why we ask you to leave them at home. Dogs (aside from documented service dogs) are not allowed in the pool area or the parking lot as it does not have shade and can get very hot. There are no pets allowed in the compound.

  • No cameras, radios, TVs, cell phones, pagers, computers, PDAs or other communication or recording devices are permitted in the main pool area. Pretend your visit here is time travel back to the early days of Desert Reef when none of these distractions exited.

  • No illegal drugs or other controlled substances are allowed anywhere on the grounds.

  • Day-guest access on the property is confined to the road, parking lot and main pool area.

  • All day-guests must leave the property at closing, and there is no camping or overnight parking at this time.

  • Fences, berms and other protective structures may not be climbed upon or over. Guests doing so will be asked to leave.

RV, CAMPER, AND VAN Policies.

PAYMENT POLICIES

  1. Full payment is due at the time the reservation is made. We accept major credit or debit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover). All rates are subject to Taxes and administrative fees. Taxes and Fees are subject to change without notice.

  2. Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests.

  1. CANCELLATION POLICY

    1. Similarly to our accommodation reservations and event tickets, there are no cancellations or refunds allowed on van/camper sites for any reason.

    2.  No refunds are provided for late arrivals or early departures. 

    3. Desert Reef Hot Spring reserves the right to cancel or amend any reservation without notification should the deposit or payment dates not be met. 

    4. Cancellation anytime releases rights to the accommodation.

  2. CHECK-IN AND CHECKOUT TIMES

    1. Check-in: Van/camper site check-in is from 6:00pm - 9:00pm. Soaking is included from 6:00pm - 10:00pm

    2. Check-out: Van/camper check-out is at 12pm. Soaking in the morning is included from 8:00am - 12:00pm

    3. During events: Check-in time for van/camper sites is at the start of an event (or upon arrival if they book an earlier soak. Soak sessions prior to event must be booked ahead of time). Check-out is at 10am. Soaking in the morning afterward is not included, but you may book a morning soak ahead of time.

  3. ARRIVAL TO PROPERTY

    1. Please visit the Front Office to check-in for your reservation.

    2. To expedite your check-in, please acknowledge our policies at the time of booking or purchasing your tickets.

    3. Office hours are based on main pool hours of operations.  

  4. FEES

    1. Should guests leave a property in unacceptable condition, an additional $100 will be charged to their account.

  5. PETS

    1. We love pets, but there are no pets allowed on property or in accommodations, with exception of ADA recognized service animals.

  6. SMOKING

    1. Absolutely No Smoking of any kind inside. Guests who violate this policy will be charged an additional cleaning fee of $500.

    2. No smoking in the parking lot. Smoking only in the smoking area near the bench in front of the main office.

  7. CHANGES BY Desert Reef Hot Spring

    1. Desert Reef Hot Spring reserves the right to make accommodation/site and/or other changes to a guest reservation, which become necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. Desert Reef Hot Spring will do everything possible to ensure the impact of any change is as minimal as possible.

  8. PROPERTY FACILITIES & AMENITIES

    1. Guest(s) shall keep the perimeter of their accommodation tidy and rubbish free. 

    2. Van/Camper guests have access to the main property throughout normal business hours, from check-in to check-out.

    3. Access to the pools are only allowed during posted times there is NO ACCESS to the main pools or property. NO AFTER HOURS USE IS ALLOWED

    4. The main pool area does have clothing optional hours, check with staff and website for further details. 

    5. No tents allowed

    6. There are no hookups and generator use is not allowed at any time

    7. Parking permits are required and must be displayed on your vehicle at all times

    8. Restroom access for van/camper site overnight guests is our porta potties located nearby.

    9. All guests in a van/camper site must be in a van, truck camper, or Class B ONLY

  9. SPECIAL OFFERS

    1. Special offers are subject to change at any time. Special offers cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions.

  10. MISCELLANEOUS POLICIES

    1. Must be 21 or over to reserve and check-in.

    2. All hours of operation are Quiet Hours. Guests resulting in noise complaints will be charged an additional $75 fee. If recurring, guests may be asked to leave. 

    3. Desert Reef Hot Spring will charge the credit card on file should any damage occur to the property during the rental period. Damage to furniture, linens and other property will be assessed and then billed to the customer at our replacement cost, which may include labor costs. We will always be transparent in our communication about damage to the rooms. Keep in mind that excessively soiled linens, carpets and furniture will be included as damages.

    4. Tent and car camping is prohibited.

  11. DISCLAIMER

    1. Management reserves the right to evict or refuse entry to any person who has evidenced a disregard for the rules without a refund.

    2. The Renter agrees that Desert Reef Hot Spring  shall not be liable to Renter, Renter’s guests, invitees or any other person for any injury, loss or damage to any person or property on or about the rental premises. Renter shall hold Desert Reef Hot Spring  harmless and indemnified from and against all loss or damage occasioned by use, misuses or abuse of any part of or fixture on the premises, surrounding areas and from or against any omission, neglect, or default of the Renter, his/her guests or invitees. The Renter acknowledges that Desert Reef Hot Spring, assumes no liability thereunder.
